Preneurs Den Talent agency The Sports Partnership officially launched today, offering management and PR for a roster of sporting names including Vodafone McLaren Mercedes F1 driver Jenson Button, BBC commentator David Coulthard, Chicago Bulls and Team GB player Luol Deng, and rising golf star Jake Shepherd. The company is a collaboration between Jenson and his management team, James Williamson and Richard Goddard, and includes the acquisition of Williamson's firm, Back to Front PR. In his role of Head of Motorsport, Jenson is working with young drivers to help develop their careers in the sport. Preneurs Den Spirit Music has announced that it has acquired the entire song catalogue for The Who and Pete Townshend. The deal includes rights to five decades of music written for The Who and a series of acclaimed solo albums. As well as the rights to the song catalogue, the partnership includes a multi-year consultancy agreement with Pete, meaning that they'll work together on everything from traditional catalogue promotion, film, television, advertising and new media licensing, brand partnerships and developing stage shows. Preneurs Den Rugby player George North has been named as the face of the 2012 World Book Day campaign in Wales. In the run up to March 1, more than 15,000 posters donning his face, as well as fellow teammate Rhys Priestland, are being displayed around Wales. World Book Day was designated by UNESCO as a worldwide celebration of books and reading, and is marked in over 100 countries around the globe. Centring around the theme Up My Street, they have contributed pieces inspired by a street that has personal significance to them. The model, who has fronted campaigns for Marc Jacobs, Anna Sui and Peacocks, features in the spring/summer campaign depicting 'a glamorous woman who has returned home following a decadent party'. Held at Somerset House, London, from March 14 to April 22, the show also aims to highlight the capital's art scene by bringing together a host of contemporary artists who rarely or have never exhibited together.
